Divine Mercy Poem by Michael Walker

Divine Mercy

May I see the world through Your Wounds
That You may save everyone whom I see,
For the world before Your Mercy swoons,
Bathing within your Pacific Sea.

You come to me in lightning and thunder,
Saying, 'No man will ever understand
My Essence, ' for we tore You asunder,
Even though we were made by Your hand.

Jesus, I trust in You, so have mercy!
The tempests of temptations buffet me.
Free me from the wiles of Circe,
That I Your eyes in everyone's may see.

I pray before Your rays of red and white,
For Your blood and water restores my sight.
