Doctor Foster Poem by Phil Soar

Doctor Foster

Doctor Foster
He was Fostered
And he never knew it
His stepmother, Jill
Walked up a hill
And stepfather jack drove through it

The other side was open wide
The hills and views were great
So they left him there
On a broken chair
And some food upon a plate

Then they drove away
On a sunny day
And left him in a heap
For he fell off the chair
All the way down there
And promptly fell asleep
