Doggie Poem by Anna Banasiak

Doggie

There's nothing
to complain about
dance for joy
chew a bit
chastised by the eyes of strangers
I'm looking for old places
freedom
on a leash
with you I want to
run against the wind
taste life
thrown at my feet
I'm barking
to this whole world
