Dogs And Biscuits Poem by Phil Soar

Dogs And Biscuits

The biscuit tin fell to the floor
There are no biscuits anymore
The dogs were there in record time
And ate all those biscuits of mine

I bought some more the following day
And hid those tasty things away
Yet when I went to have a treat
Both the dogs were at my feet

And though I tried so secretly
To keep those biscuits just for me
The soulful eyes that looked my way
Made me give my treats away
