Dogs Cats And Other Critters Poem by bonnie brown

Dogs Cats And Other Critters

Rating: 5.0

When I think of all the animals in our world
Be they large winged, aquatic, or small
The world must really believe and understand
They deserve our respect one and all

We have pets dogs cats and different others
We view the wild and exotic at the zoo
Others we see out running out in the wild
Where there are left so very few.

Think of life without these wonderful creatures
Life as we know it would never be the same
We would miss their love, playfulness, and their presence
Never again would we play their game.

When they leave us for another place, tired
Knowing there is a bridge made of rainbows
They will be healthy, young happy, and frolicking,
They wait for us to once again kiss their noses.
