Don't Bless Me With Rain Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Don't Bless Me With Rain

Don't Bless Me With Rain
I don't want to sweep away
My ugly entity.
I love my own identity
No matter, I'm like a word
Never spoken and noticed.
I am in love with dry breeze
Without crystal of humidity.
Sandstorm is flavour of my choice
As it always advocates my right.
Whenever and however....
Oasis invaded zone of my liberty.
Dissipated clouds and
Soothing sound of winds
Altogether Composed music my song
That I have never sang....
Don't bless me Lord with rain
For I have sinned.
Tickling of sand particles
And sound of desert
May not be melody of your choice.
Sand blowing over dunes
Does carry my heart tunes.
Reality of my existence
Still, is bitter reality.
Have anyone noticed here;
Dancing in rain is, no doubt
Mirage for me, so clear.

Everyone enjoyed with his own fate.
Little a few drops of rain
Symbolic form of my tears
That reveals pain I suffer
From my thirst.
A barren area of landscape too
Has got a fragile heart to beat.
