Don't, forget me
He scampers down the avenue, fast as possible
The delivery man was almost invisible
The evening was closing in quickly
He stumbled, then regained his balance in one stride, leapfrogging
onto the tailgate of the moving van.
He crawled into the middle and snuggled down
Near exhaustion, but happy he waited to be discovered
destination his new kennel
