Don'T Judge Him Poem by Francis Duggan

Don'T Judge Him

Don't judge him for money or for his lack of it
And don't judge him if on the sidewalks he does spit
He once was a proud man from grace he did fall
He has his addictions so too don't we all,
Don't judge him for how he lives or of how he does dress
Those who you look up to and those that you impress
Are not as marvellous as you do make them out to be
And they are mere mortals just as mortal as he
You dismiss as a failure and despite what you say
The tycoon and the pauper will be equal one day
That poor homeless fellow on whom you look down
Was once a well respected man in the town
Long before you were born success he did know
And you so up yourself in life has far to go.
