Don'T Stare, Please Poem by Lizzie Marie

Don'T Stare, Please

What do you do
When your addiction
isn't a substance
but making yourself hurt
Everyone thinks you're a freak
Begging for the stares they give you
Please don't stare at me
like I'm on display
I'm just like you, only
I take meds everyday
But... I'm skipping
Because i want to be like you
As effortless as you are
