Don'T Wanna Be Her Poem by Megan Loney

Don'T Wanna Be Her

I don't wanna be this girl
With her head hung low.
Who hides her heart and
Never lets her feelings show.

I woke up this morning
And looked into the mirror.
I saw a face that was weary
And eyes that were filled with tears.

Her hair hung about her eyes
As she bowed her head.
Her mind was filled with memories,
Her heart was filled with dread.

I don't wanna be this girl
With her head hung low.
Who hides her heart and
Never lets her feelings show.

Really sad, I know exactly how you feel. I am a guy who has the same problem. Are you, like me, worried that if you show your feelings you'll get rejected or laughed at?
