Done With Her Poem by Ardimus Caldwell

Done With Her

Tired of looking at
the face that once had my heart
were everything could be
were me and her lived life
a life that was so full of happiness
so beautiful
a world where thy eye's lie
words are twisted into sweet things
and me and her are happy
then eye's open
and everyone is still happy
but one
the lonely one
who gives without an answer
or a reply
looked over
and seen as a tool
used for a good laugh that last for a moment
her frist resort for happiness when down and out
wanting the world given to her
wanting me to wait for her
can't wait no longer
can't keep holding thy feelings up on faith
when will it fall to the ground
when will the flag raise and I be free from this cluch
walked away first this is it
thy lips fall to rest and so does my feelings
take a bow and finish wih this
done with her
