Down In The Pits
Down in the pits,
crying in fear.
This pain,
is so real.
It seems to never go away.
Fading into the darkness,
the light I see,
is growing smaller.
I don't know what to do.
Down in the pits,
raging in anger.
Wanting out,
tired of reliving the pain.
It needs to leave me alone,
to stop being a burden,
on my back.
Cutting me like a knife.
