There’s no need to hurt people;
I thought you’d know that by now.
Lies are bringing you to corruption;
You use them to burn the world down.
Well, I’ve got news for you;
You’re lying in vain.

You’ve been deceiving yourself, too.
You created your own little fantasy.
So now you’re completely blind
To the hurt you brought to you
To the hurt you brought to me.
Well, I’ve got news for you;
You’ve been bringing pain.

Your life is just a book of fiction
With so many pages of contradiction.
Why not start over with a new edition?
Newsflash: lying is a pitiful addiction.
You’ve been saying that your life is fine;
That you’re perfect and as good as sunshine,
Well, I’ve got news for you;
You’re walking through rain.

Well, I’ve got news for you;
The dragon in your heart must be slain.
