Dream
Lying here
Feeling you by my side
You’re so near
That I can feel your chest rise
With each breath you take
Your arms around me
Keeping me safe
As we see
The stars shine down on from heaven
The night sky
Like a blanket over me and you
Keeping us safe and warm
Then they fade
As my eyes close
I wake up
And you’re gone
But the blanket’s still there
Were you there?
Or was it just a dream?
