Dream Again Poem by Mickel Allen

Dream Again

Can we but briefly dream again
Of beauty, wonder and hearts that mend.
The sky its hues of blue so clear
And softly kiss us does the air.
In flight we raise, no thought or care
As dreams suspend us in atmosphere

A time when love and peace abounds
Permitting mortals not to frown
If only we can dream again
And on this stream of blue be calmed
And ride the tide that bears no harm

Where love and life fulfilled with glee
While hands we hold and journey free.
To yonder, just hearts, no eyes can see
A place where love and unity breed
Bonded by the dreams we weave
Where you and me our lives complete
If briefly can we dream again?
