Dreams Poem by George Samuel

Dreams

Rating: 5.0

What dreams have done to us,
We can only bear..

We wake up from love,
To hate.
From wealth,
To poverty.
From peace,
To war.
From friends,
To enemies.
From victory,
To victims.
From love ones,
To never seeing them again.
From fulfilment,
To emptiness.
From health,
To sickness.
Yet we can't stop dreaming.

For it is the first thing we do,
When we close our eyes to sleep.
But if only dreams can come through,
Like when we peed,
Then we'd all wished,
We spend all our lives dreaming..
