Drift Not, But Run Poem by Sandra Osborne

Drift Not, But Run

Rating: 5.0

J
Drift not dear child
from your thoughts
for they are your dreams
rising from your soul
Hidden only by the restriction
of man and his suffocation of self

S
But run far my child
from your hatred
for it grows along with your fears
and rises from your ignorance
Hidden only by the shame
of man and his suffocation of guilt.
