Drifter Poem by prabhakar bhatlekar

Drifter

A complicit drifter
I pushed myself aside
and watched all rush.
Great fun!
To get overwhelmed,
gasping, thrilled and lost.
Hmm.. not to torture the minds.
Your's and other's.
But why in this cacophony
I hear those undying tunes
keep humming, fading all noise?
No one heard...
The tunes took charge and
me to a different planet.
Was it a dream, or hallucination?
The crowd was quite now
watching me as a stranger
from a faraway planet.
Am floating with the tunes
no one heard.
