Drink And Drive Poem by Gloraly Gomez

Drink And Drive

</>Everything's in a hurry
My vision's way too blurry
The trees rush by on both sides
In seconds, it all subsides
Later, I open my eyes
And hear my mother's grim cries
Then my flashbacks remind me
Of what happened quite recently
I hear the two cars, crashing
I see the pieces, smashing
I'm so glad I made it through the pain
But I won't ever drink and drive again...
