Drinking In The Dark Poem by Matthew Holloway

Drinking In The Dark

Keep it out
The light
Draw the curtains
Shut the shutters
And be quiet
I need the silence
To contemplate
Those questions
That nobody asked
I detest distraction
Light and noise
I need it gone
While I sit here
Alone
Drinking in the dark
