POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The cold nip in the air or sudden chill make us aware of the drop down in the temperature. Our body talks to us as well. We feel the cold!

As well as what? A little confusing, but that can be a good thing in a haiku. The cold speaks for itself, but the body feels it too- - Meaning the cold has affected everything visible (frost, etc) , but also the bones...maybe? Is that close? I like your haiku. I think it works.
