Drowning Poem by Jan Oskar Hansen

Drowning

Drowning
A fledgling flew,
alas, wings to small and weak
it landed in a puddle
and quickly drowned.
Tiny tot too dies easily
in ponds
lakes
rivers
bath tubs
and in the Mediterranean Sea
only few of them
die by accident.
