Duddy Kravitz Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Duddy Kravitz

Duddy kravitz

Had I been another
Things could be much better
If a lamb, hen or cow
For murder in the pen or farm’s barn
Or soldier on rampage
Enjoyed March, fooled by words, and blind
I could be a hero for books of Richler, Mordecai
Afraid of politics, I’d reject ‘Oh Canada! Oh Quebec! ’
