Duet Of Love Poem by shimon weinroth

Duet Of Love

Complaining
Whining
And whimpering

Wet the mood
Dampen and
Stamp out

Overtures
And rhapsodies of
Passion

What one needs
To whet the appetite
Are morsels of soft

Warm cozy sounds
Fond glances
Movements of ease and grace

To set the stage
Light the fires
Of desires

On the road to
Consummation
All it takes to postpone

Is a sigh, a whim
A sign, a wave
From senses fickle
That did not tickle

There is no science to making love
Better luck next time
