Dull And Foolishness Poem by Lawrence Hiung

Dull And Foolishness

Other people have more than enough
But I alone seem to have lost everything.
I am dull and foolish!

Other people are clear
While I alone am confused.
Other people are clever

While I am stupid.
I feel lost at sea,
Tossed about on the winds of a storm.

Everyone else has things to do
While I am dull and stupid.
But I am different from others.

I am nourished by the Great Mother.

(extracted from Tao Te Ching, chapter 20)
