Dust Poem by Paul Reed

Dust

The low sunlight
Lanced through french windows,
Shivered the dust
Which floated, energised anew
With the undertones of life
And abstract memories and stirrings
That would lay it flat on shelves and table tops;
And we felt mellow that evening
