Dustproof Memories Poem by bob barci

Dustproof Memories

I don't know how to begin.
The words have faded from view.
Will the words come tomorrow?
Tomorrows fade all too fast
and I'm left in the dark,
cherishing the memory.
Oh! But what a memory!
If tomorrow only continues today,
and today only continues yesterday,
then my memories need not be dusted.
I only want to keep them alive.
Yesterday may be gone,
but the memories last forever.

I don't know how to continue.
The words I can't express.
I tried, but they're all jumbled.
Tomorrow is built on yesterday's memory.
The memories are here – but tomorrow?
I hope so.
