I thank my God for liberty
From Satan’s scheming lies
Though born a slave, I’m dying free
With Jesus to arise
I’m dying freely day and night
And yet I’m soaring high
Within the realm of Heaven’s Light
Where eagles cannot fly
I’m dying so my God can live
Within this soul once dead
I’m dying, that my God can give
True life through Living Bread
Dying by choice to wanton lust
Dying to live for Christ
That truly to God this tent of dust
Be truly sacrificed
For as I die my daily death
I live to Christ above
Serving the One who gives me breathe
And such undying love
It may sound strange it may sound odd
I’m dying for my life
I’m dying so The Living God
Can choose me as His wife
Its not a hoax its not a lie
Its not that I’m a fool
I choose to live that I may die
So Christ inside can rule
Can rule within can rule without
So life’s not lived in vain
So that there be no room for doubt
I live to live again
