Dying Poem by Jake Samuelson

Dying

Death, it must be such a beautiful thing
The green grass swaying over head
Finally, silence, no time but forever
To forgive, forget, and be at peace
It must be so sweet, no pain, no anger
Silence reigns in this new life of death
Why do people fear death... It is sweet
Relinquishes them from their problems
It is a painful truth and that is sure
but life, that is just a beautiful lie
