Eager To Argue Poem by Adam Thoms

Eager To Argue

I'm eager to argue
'bout what's meager or taboo
my intriguer is how you
came to your new breakthrough

Constantly contesting
Joking & jesting
My second guessing
Has been a blessing

My biggest fear is never knowing
Never growing
I'm so afraid my face is showing
My pace slowing down

I'm eager to impress
With the way i express
My theory to success
Could use some finess

I'm drawing conclusions
Based on delusions
College confusions
Knowledge transusions

My biggest fear is never knowing
Never grown
I'm so afraid my face is showing
My pace slowing down

It's attention i seek: tongue in cheek

I'm growing to the point of knowing
That crying isn't wrong & trying makes ya strong
I'm trying to the point of crying
To maintain the physique of a lion
I'm growing to the point of knowing
That crying isn't wrong & trying makes ya strong.
