Ebony - Poem by Emily Slm

Lurking in a brittle brown forest
My friend abandoned me
I feel eyes watching.
Cold, black,
Ebony

Long claws
crunch dead leaves
Emerging is flared nostrils
Cold, Black,
Ebony

Eyes
Nose
Teeth
me
C old, black,
Ebony

Dark sand
Glistening dots
amidst the night
hope comes
it fades
Like drinking eternity
It flows through
Cold
BLACK
ebony
