Echelon Shivers Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Echelon Shivers

Breath begins to fasten
My loves lips begin to whisper
The sweetest sound is heard
breath pauses
heartstrings are strum
the greatest symphony is heard
don't say goodbye love
play it again my lips whisper
let our eyes roam through the city lights
let them run into the sunset as shadows uncover the
dawn of your smile
breath pauses
quick sighs are echo'd to the heavens
knowing only life our time here is short
tears roll down her cheek as lips can no longer stop them
play it again my eyes cry
the sweet symphony you've sung
the sights that have become lullaby's shared between you & I
I want to close my eyes and not return
