Eclipse** Poem by Neil Young

Eclipse**

Not quite the sudden darkness that we thought,
Just a subtle dimming of the sky.
Our moon’s thin cataract shields us from the sun
Whose face shrinks to a thinning smile;
The slowed down blinking of an eye.
