I'm not strong on punctuation; although not totally adverse,
I have on occasions used it in poetry and verse.
It seems a semi colon is more gentle than a dot, but if you don't
see it in my verse then just assume that I forgot!
A exclamation mark! or question? have far less poetic use,
in fact they tend to irritate my thoughts and poets Muse.
A hyphen can add some dramatic effect - depending on the type of line the poet's writing next.
Still-yet! Line and rhyme and metre take preference in my verse, punctuation I will grant you makes it better? Maybe worse!
So when the lines get longer or words are quite a lot.
I'll help you take a breath with one tiny little dot! !
