Elections - Poem by Tony Adah

I can see
A queue of frightened voters
Waiting to get command
On the ballot
There is a legion
Of soldiers at the polling units
But the voters are few
Their call to duty-
A negation of democracy.
It is long
Since the events
In this sphere
Have gone awry
And the architects
Are still busy
Sketching the dome
Of our doom.

Men are fools led by fools,
that's why they have make believe free elections

Very good and well written poem. Describes the situation so well!
    It speaks the truth!
