Elvira (An Angel In Disguise) Poem by Rik Bertrand

Elvira (An Angel In Disguise)

I see a vision of beauty, gothic in all detail,
I see eyes of darkness, they devour and derail.
Dressed in seductive black, and alluring to all
And when she speaks her magic, Ohhh, my skin does crawl.

Elvira, Elvira, you are the Mistress of the Dark,
I am now on a darkened path, which I cannot disembark
Your beauty and your lustfulness has an entrancing effect,
But there is no evil in your heart that I can truly detect.

You're loving and adoring, your soul is bright and clear,
You my love are wearing a mask, this is so very clear.
And though you represent darkness in all that you do
Your soul defends the good lord and the good life you pursue.

Elvira, Elvira, you are the Mistress of the Dark,
You are the Gothic Queen and you have made your mark.
Your rein of the darkness has made for a better fight,
If only the world could see you in a different light.

I understand the life you lead, I love the scary nights.
I completely agree with you on all your sexy bites.
For I know the true blue you, which is more civilized,
You're a savior of the lost an Angel in disguise.

REB (MARCH 2012) because I have always liked Elvira (an angel in disguise)
