Straight in front
we shall stand slowly nearing,
hand touch hand pull me closer to your being
eyes though closing still are seeing
as our arms begin to mingle
double heartbeat becomes single
with each breath our love we share
with each kiss to show we care
each special moment our souls recall
our bond grows stronger with them all
draw apart but still I feel
your presence near me is so real
more and more I love you still
ever, ever always will
though time or miles keep me away
in spirit dear I'll always stay
through the tears and through the laughter
our hearts are locked for ever after.
