A tempest's grip, a soul distressed.
Yet 'midst the storm, a flicker bright,
A glimmer of hope, a guiding light.
Depression's weight, a heavy shroud,
But through the cracks, my spirit's vowed,
To seek the joy that softly gleams,
To chase away the darkest dreams.
In tears that fall, a cleansing rain,
A mix of sorrow, joy's refrain.
For in the depths, a strength does grow,
A quiet resilience, a steadfast glow.
So let it be, this complex dance,
Depression's grip, a fleeting trance.
For within me, happiness finds its way,
A radiant sun amid clouds' gray.
In brokenness, a masterpiece,
In sadness, moments of sweet release.
Both darkness and light together bind,
A heart, resilient, beautifully entwined.
