Emotions Controlled Me Poem by Matlapa Maphologela

From the distance of fear to closer I got, not that long I was happy but now I'm sad. I blame none but emotions.

Your are the one I thought I had control of, I lost you. how could you embarrass me like that.

If only it was not how you shacked me, I would have remained like they know me strong and unshakeable.

Now I'm exposed and it's all your fault I'm broken like this. You controlled me, emotions controlled me. Poet Matlapa Maphologela
