Empty Room Poem by Reed Dietiker

Empty Room

Four blank, pale white walls
I see my reflection in all
Plain, boring, I need some art
Show it from the inside, from the heart
I need some true colors
Something different from the others
Green, purple, black, white, and blue
Show it wasnt me, it was you
Make your own designs
Show love, all different kinds
Teach me how to live
Teach me how to give
So when I open the door
I dropp to the floor
Make it say boom
Paint my heart, my Empty Room
