The end is drawing near
and oh is it drawing fast
and yet my memory is clear
with the mem'ries of my past
I am asking time somehow
To slow down even a little
Asking it to give more time
to my tiny heart so brittle
But then as i watched the clock
It ticked as fast as it should
I know i can't slow down time
Though if I can I would
With the little time left
For me to spend with you
I shall try to make moments
That'll never be dull nor blue
The end is drawing near
But we have yet to live
We have yet all the smiles
Laughter and joy to give
