Ending In Sight Poem by Bradford Poet

Ending In Sight

All alone in a peaceful zone,
The wind is calming,
As the street lights glow,
Looking upon,
You can sense the lonely souls,
It's a bad place to be,
Especially,
When your all alone,
Faint sounds of sirens,
Pass on by,
The distant blue lights,
Creeping slowly out of sight,
Now once again,
You see only street lights,
The ground now hardened,
From the brisk chill of the night,
The fogs creeping in,
Where know no one can see,
from deep within,
Climbing high,
You look at your surroundings,
Taking a breath,
Stepping off the edge,
The last moments before you forget,
That is the sad truth,
How many end.
