Endless Waltz Poem by Edward Veilleux

Endless Waltz

My heart is heavy, my feet are light.
I have to leave the thought, have to forget it tonight.
I need strength, I need my brothers.
I'll find a girl, but will I love another?
My life isn't over, not quite yet...
I'll have another day, My last sunrise has not set
I just need more confidence, higher amounts.
Need something to pick me up, when I'm having doubts.
I deserve better, I've always been told.
It's time to believe that, treat me like gold.
There isn't a limit, we can do it all.
We can be better, We will stand tall.
You meant alot, I can't put it behind me.
We all make mistakes, that's what this'll be.
Not the first we've made, and I'm sure not the last.
Once I wake up from this dream, my anger will pass.
Life is truly like a dream, or a nightmare in parts.
Demons walk in both, leaving a trail of broken hearts.
We must be careful, we must be wise.
An angel can be a devil in disguise.
She might seem great, you'll believe it of course.
Then when it's over, she'll walk away with no remorse.
But I would go through it all, for a second time.
To have someone to hold, someone that is mine.
Goodbye my dream, goodbye the girl from within.
I wonder if you'll come back, and if so... when?

Romantic and connective about the tribulations of love and sometimes losing a love and wanting them back, at least somebody back.
