Enemy In The Mirror Poem by Prince Kenny Osei

Enemy In The Mirror

He sat down and tried to analyse his status in retrospect
One thought giggled through his brains
And found no reason to act
He thought of the gossip behind his prance
And concluded for a further check
His colossal heart now wondering of this hefty hitch
He always frighted about the move of his fellows
An undoubted prig
And with no act of altruism
Then came a juncture
In which his admirations could be reached
He dazzled around the province
And unravelled his sudden call to honour
The wise men considered his call to be a fiasco
His outrageous pose before the dialogue said it all
He reached the premises and with no act of fluster,
He encroached the hall
The delegation asked matters of human-spaced interest
And his response was negative
Because he had no passionate appeal for humanity
He retrogressed gradually and stigmatized
Cos he was a foe to their progress
An altruist confronted him and said
'You're the enemy in the mirror
Because you seek your own downfall '
