Enjoy a flower
The like of which is known nowhere else
And cannot be known in any other way
Than as you meet her,
With commonness in structure only;
Unique…
With beauty unfolding to the discerning eye…
With receptors facing the sun
At ready to sense and absorb and welcome the warmness;
With supple stem
Moving to the whispers of a gentle breeze;
With sturdy stem
To withstand the raucous winds,
Yet, to understand their purpose.
Stem of nourishment.
Stem of demand.
Behold the blossom unfolding,
Enriching her acquaintances by coincidental position.
Behold the blossom unfolding,
Revealing her particular arrangement
To those fortunate
Who pass her in the field.
