Erased Poem by Alice Kwan

Erased

Today was like one of my dreams
A flash of many images, that cannot be remembered.
My memory fails me, for i cannot even remember waking up,
But here, the daylight shines through my window.

Trying to recall actions and words spoken
But i fail miserably, i have to face it
I really have no idea how i got here
I am completly lost.

Movements all around, trying to grasp any meaning
Then all the colors blurr again, i feel as if i were blind.
White quickly erases all color, but it is still circling me.
Trapping me in, until i look down at my finger tips turining white.

It crawls up my arms and closes in my chest.
I feel as if tied with rope, sqeezing me tigher,
I desperately try to break loose as white hair brushes against my face
A mirror suddlenly appears in front of me, showing only eyes.

I blend in with the snow walls, all i can see is screaming white
And my eyes.
They are bright blue on top, as white slowly slips through their defense.
And i watch as the last of blue goes, like a green flash

White, white, white....
Its every where! Its all i can see, hear, and taste.
My own breath is white, wipped clean like the mirror in front.
My eyes open and i gasp for air.

I am in my room, under countless covers.
Sweat covers me along with goose bumps.
My day was played in my dreams
As the beaming white moonlight shines through my widow.
