Escape This Misery Poem by Micron

Escape This Misery

Rating: 5.0

Here I can portray the depths of my misery
Others may thing it indulgent self pity
I find myself again in this dark dismal place
I’m sure the pain is etched deep into my face
Even though things are really terribly bad
And my heart soul aches from being so sad
I wade the thick muddy waters of my despair
While running anxious finger through tangled hair
I long for the key to hope happiness and boundless love
And hope one day I’ll find it like everyone should
I still search see and grasp at the tiny light within
And try to make it grow so once more this battle I can win
