Escape Velocity Poem by Isunge Mwangase

Escape Velocity

When I asked God for a sign-
Roaring it came, not benign,
The night I heard the thunder,
I knew you and I were asunder

My heart had been purged,
A familiar Sun then emerged,
I was washed whiter than snow,
Then a voice said- live now.
Of my deity let everyone know
