Eternity
I know that you and I are one
That we reside in everyone
Then why this wish to see you smile
Be near your form and talk awhile?

Why the tears then when we meet
Instead of a delightful greet?
Why this need to serve and stay
Near you, when I as well could pray?

Why when I hear others tell me
How close they are to you than me
I wish that I was close to you
When I know all along that I am you?

Why this wish to be apart
Then this wish not to part?
My heart says that all is well
That we are one, time will tell.
