Eternity Poem by David Harris

Eternity

Rating: 5.0

Standing at the edge of the world,
I look out over eternity,
that edge of life where people go,
but never com back from.
Writers often talk about it,
no one has ever seen it,
nor is it ever mapped.
We hear it is a space so vast
that no eyes can see
where it begins or ends.
Romantics use it to describe love
and how some live.
However if no one has ever seen it,
how do we know it exists?
The question has no answer,
except that we are told
it is a long, long time.
